Food waste treatment plant begins commissioning and operation

Yongfeng County Food Waste Treatment Plant was completed on May 1 and began debugging and operating with equipment.
The plant includes both collection and processing systems. The food waste is first collected and transported by a fully enclosed food waste collection and transportation vehicle, and then composted through high-temperature aerobic composting technology and relying on aerobic microorganisms. It is expected to produce 100 tons of organic fertilizer and 47 tons of oil per year.
It is constructed using the BOT operation model, with a construction investment of approximately 10 million yuan. The project is constructed in two phases. The first phase processes 20 tons of food waste per day, and the second phase has a daily processing capacity of 10 tons. It adopts the 'pretreatment + high-temperature aerobic composting treatment' process. Composting treatment turns organic matter into organic fertilizer or soil conditioner, and oil-water separation turns kitchen waste into economically beneficial oil, turning waste into treasure.
